make-up

Los Angeles native Grace Phillips was an art school kid from an early age. Thinking her career would be in graphic design and fashion illustration, Grace graduated and began working briefly as a website designer for a clothing brand. But her passion ignited when she took an interest in special effects makeup, which lead to working as a makeup artist in film for several years.

Feeling limited in production, she realized where she belonged after wanting to build a portfolio of amazing images with great photographers, so she began assisting and working with people in the beauty and celebrity industries. After cultivating a nice amount of work, and relationships Grace has worked with such celebrities as Minnie Driver, Leighton Meester, Phoebe Tonkin, Holland Roden, creating red carpet looks. Her work has been published in such magazines as V Magazine, Interview, Elle, GQ, Paper, CR Fashion Book, Seventeen, and Zink. As well as working with clients like Yahoo, Mazda, Motorola, Samsung, and Netflix.
